Claudette

The Claudette Gown is entirely appliquéd and beaded by hand in our San Francisco Atelier.

Claudette is one of our Atelier’s most ambitious designs, highlighting the “Savoire- Faire”of our “Le petite mains” featuring hundreds of delicate motifs cut from the ground of an exquisitely crafted embroideries milled in Como, Italy. Taking over 250 hours to complete, each motif is carefully trimmed from the ground, placed in a mirrored pattern and hand appliquéd to the gown. The Swarovski crystal accents are hand-sewn to highlight the floral motifs and adding the perfect touch of sparkle., evoking the glamour of a bygone era. The base of the gown is a sophisticated, double -sided silk duchesse satin from Italy, is supple to the hand, flowing softly with movement, but has light structural body that holds its shape creating an elegant, softly tailored look.
